Interkonzalting d.o.o. is responsible for the Krasno Visitor Center project management.
In order to enrich tourist offer of Krasno and the City of Senj and attract a greater number of tourists to this area, especially in the winter period, a modern Center for Visitor of National Park North Velebit was built. The building has a permanent exhibition showing the natural and cultural values of the Park and its surroundings. Interpretation of natural and cultural values within the supply center represents a useful tool for the wider community in contribution to the protection of nature in general, park management and tourism.

Besides Northern Velebit National Park, in creating plans for the construction of the "Velebit House", the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy and the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund also participated.

The building was built according to the highest standards of energy efficiency (energy class A +) and the passive house system, ie using various energy conservation principles (from using solar energy in a passive way to active use of solar energy in photovoltaic panels for power generation, thermal insulation, collecting rainwater and heating to renewable sources) 5 times lower energy consumption than average buildings was achieved.

The building consists of basement, ground floor, first floor and attic. Vertical communication in the center is realized through main and auxiliary staircases, and lifts, primarily intended for persons with reduced mobility. The elevator in the west section is panoramic and is in function of the exhibition stands. The linearity of the exhibition stands is ensured by the vertical communication arrangement.
In the basement floor is the main entrance to the center which is accessed using the external ramps and stairs. In the entrance there is an info desk, souvenir shop and auxiliary facilities. In this area, the model layout of the National Park is located, and periodic arrangements are foreseen. Within the back of the access ramps, the boiler room is planned. On the ground floor and on the first floor there are layouts and auxiliary rooms, while the attic level consists of presentation hall, offices with auxiliary facilities, archives and engine room.
