Medvednica is the best-equipped skiing centre of the entire northern Croatia. The existing ski slopes and ski lifts are situated on the northern slopes of Medvednica, beginning at the Sljeme peak and using the varied configuration of the terrain, thus providing slopes of different levels of difficulties. The length of the Crveni Spust (Red Run) is 950 metres, equipped with a snowmaking and night illumination systems.
The snowmaking facility extends the ski season. Artificial snow may be applied when meteorological and atmospheric conditions allow. The zero point is -3°C with moisture of 86%. Two types of snow machines are used for snowmaking: "The Giraffes" - 8 fixed machines on the Red Slope and "Fan Guns" - 13 of them mobile, 9 fixed on the Red Slope. The total slope length is about 4 500 meters, with 2 ski lifts (the White and the Green Slope), as well as a three-seat ski lift on the Red Slope with a total capacity of 3300 skiers per hour. Every skiing season there are a number of skiing competitions held on the ski slopes of Sljeme, among which the most famous and the most prestigious is the FIS World Ski Cup competition - Worl Cup race Snow Queen.

INTERKONZALTING d.o.o. was responsible for the notional Project of Red Run ski slope, BoQ, transformer stations, night illumination, machines for snowmaking supporting pumping stations, connection to the water trunks, water supply, sewerage and drainage system installation, testing of equipment and start-up.
INTERKONZALTING d.o.o. was responsible for construction and installation works supervision and coordination, planning and cost control, health and safety supervision, design review, technical assistance to the client for equipment selection. Support was also given during the works and equipment procurement stage.
